I am a firm believer that God has set a divine plan for each of our lives. While I didn't expect to be where I am today, it is amazing how I ended up right where I'm supposed to be.

     Before I started photography full-time, I spent five years as a news reporter and magazine editor. Through my work in journalism, I was fortunate to learn photojournalism, photographic editing and staging. 

     I'm also a commercial model, so I know what it's like to be in front of the camera. I've spent countless hours behind and in front of the lens. I know as well as anyone how many details go into capturing a wonderful photograph. But - I also know how fun photo shoots can be if you relax and enjoy the whole experience! 

     A huge part of my job as a photographer is getting to know my clients. Here are a few tidbits about me...

     I have nine-month-old twin girls, and I have NO idea how mothers of triplets or more do it...NO IDEA!

     All of my children have B names, which I know is kind of obnoxious - but it works for us. 

     I'm a coffee junkie. When my oldest daughter was a-year-and-a-half-old she pointed to a Starbuck's sign out the car window and said, "Mommy Coffee!"

     I love documentary films, which is how I justify all of the reality TV on my TiVo.

     October is my favorite month...my birthday, my anniversary and Halloween!

     I LOVE to travel & HATE to fly. My dream destination is Greece, but it would probably take a horse tranquilizer to get me over the Atlantic.

     Disney World really is the Happiest Place on Earth.

     I'm addicted to the adrenaline rush I get photographing weddings. When I get behind my lens with a bride and groom in front of me, I'm transported to a completely different world.
